Pocket AI is an on-device AI application developed by Aman Baldha.
This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket AI accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App.
Pocket AI is designed to operate primarily on your device.
We do not operate user accounts and do not collect your name, email address, account credentials, advertising ID, device identifiers, location information, or personal profile information.
We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, Firebase, crash-reporting services, or other remote telemetry services.
Your conversations, prompts, and generated responses are processed locally on your device using on-device AI models.
Conversation history may be stored locally in the App’s private storage so that you can access your previous conversations.
Your conversations are not uploaded to our servers and are not transmitted to us for AI processing.
Pocket AI may request microphone permission when you choose to use the voice-input feature.
Audio is processed using the device’s speech-recognition functionality to convert your speech into text.
Pocket AI does not intentionally record or upload your microphone audio to our servers.
Microphone access occurs only when you use the voice-input functionality.
Pocket AI may allow you to select photos or other files for supported AI functionality.
Files selected by you are processed locally on your device.
Pocket AI does not upload selected photos, videos, or documents to our servers.
When you export a conversation, the resulting file is saved to a storage location selected by you using Android’s system file-selection functionality.
Pocket AI can operate without an internet connection after the required AI model has been downloaded.
The App uses internet access when you explicitly request an AI model download.
Model files may be downloaded from publicly available repositories hosted by Hugging Face.
The internet connection is not used to upload your conversations, prompts, microphone recordings, photos, or documents to Pocket AI servers.
Pocket AI stores certain information locally on your device, including:
This information is stored using Android’s application-specific storage mechanisms.
We do not have access to this locally stored information.
Pocket AI does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Pocket AI does not transmit your conversations or other user content to external AI services for processing.
The App may connect to publicly available Hugging Face repositories when you explicitly request an AI model download.
Because your conversations and supported user content are processed and stored locally on your device, the security of that information also depends on the security of your Android device.
Pocket AI does not maintain a remote database containing your conversations or personal profile information.
Conversation history and app settings remain stored locally on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
Pocket AI provides functionality to clear stored conversation sessions.
Downloaded model files may remain on the device until you remove them through the App or Android’s storage management functionality.
Because Pocket AI does not maintain a server-side account or cloud database containing your conversations, there is no server-side account data for us to delete.
Pocket AI is not directed specifically toward children.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Pocket AI does not use advertising networks, analytics services, Firebase, crash-reporting services, or remote AI inference services.
The App may access publicly available Hugging Face repositories when the user explicitly requests an AI model download.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated “Last updated” date will be shown at the top of this policy.
